Awesome article about Ethics and Social Media! There is a group called the ERC (Ethics Resource Center. The ERC did a study called National Business Ethics Survey. The survey gathered findings about employees thoughts and perspectives on workplace ethics. This ERC survey is one of the first to see a connection between social media and ethics. What is interesting is that companies over the last few years have implemented social networking policies in the workplace.
One conclusion this study found was that high performing social networkers are more accepting of business activities that could be seen as unethical.
